Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 30, 2026

Your privacy is very important to us. At SiteShip we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

  • We don't ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can't stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
  • We don't share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don't store unencrypted personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our service.

SiteShip is a hosted website service operated by SeedProd, LLC ("SeedProd," "we," "us," "our"). The SiteShip service is available at siteship.ai, app.siteship.ai, and customer sites hosted on *.siteship.dev or connected custom domains (collectively, the "Service"). It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating the Service.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally-identifying information is to better understand how visitors use the Service. From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Service.

We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users submitting forms or comments through sites built on SiteShip. We only disclose logged-in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that we use and disclose personally-identifying information as described below, except that form submission and commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrator of the SiteShip site that received the submission.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account to provide an email address and payment details. Those who wish to receive SiteShip updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, we collect such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with the Service. We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Service-related activities.

Customer Site Content

SiteShip stores the website content you create using the Service — including pages, templates, themes, uploaded media, blog posts, and form submissions you receive — on infrastructure operated by SiteShip and our hosting providers. We treat your site content as confidential and access it only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, debug, or improve the Service, to enforce this policy or our Terms of Service, or to comply with the law. You can export the full contents of your site as HTML at any time from your dashboard.

Form submissions, leads, and other end-user data captured by sites you build on SiteShip belong to you. You are responsible for how you use that data and for compliance with applicable privacy laws (including providing your own privacy notices to your visitors).

AI Usage Information

The SiteShip service uses AI agents to build and edit your site based on your instructions. To operate the Service, we record the prompts you send to the agent, the actions the agent takes, and the AI token usage associated with your account. We display this usage in your dashboard so you can see your remaining monthly allowance. We may use AI prompts and outputs in aggregated, de-identified form to improve the Service, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features. We do not sell your prompts or content to third parties, and we do not use the contents of your private sites to train third-party foundation models.

Aggregated Statistics

We may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Service. For instance, we may monitor the most popular pages on siteship.ai or use spam-screening services to help identify spam in form submissions. We may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, we do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

We disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of our employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide services available on the Service, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using the Service, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. We will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying or personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to our employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations as described above, we disclose such information only in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of SeedProd, third parties, or the public at large.

If you are a registered user of the Service and have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with SiteShip. We primarily use our blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example, via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of personally-identifying information.

Sub-Processors

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These currently include, without limitation, our cloud hosting and edge network provider (Cloudflare), our payment processor, our email delivery provider, our error monitoring provider, and our AI model providers. Each is contractually bound to handle your information consistent with this policy.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We use cookies to help us identify and track visitors, their usage of the Service, and their access preferences. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the Service, with the drawback that certain features may not function properly without the aid of cookies. SiteShip provides a built-in cookie-consent banner that customers can enable for the sites they publish; the privacy and cookie practices of those customer sites are the responsibility of the site owner.

Children

The Service is not designed for or directed at children 13 years of age or younger. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Business Transfers

If SiteShip, SeedProd, or substantially all of their assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that SeedProd goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, we may change our Privacy Policy from time to time, and in our sole discretion. We encourage visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Service after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
